Major giving incentive threatened 12/8/09

The House of Representatives has passed legislation to extend the estate tax permanently at 2009 levels. Now is the time to contact Senators Boxer and Feinstein to urge the Senate to pass identical legislation before they complete work this year. Without it, legal authorization for the estate tax will expire and this important incentive will be lost for people of great wealth to give back to communities through charitable contributions and tax revenues.
