Feds Act on Nonprofit Funding 7/23/09

The Corporation for National and Community Service has posted a fact sheet about the new Social Innovation Fund. If funded by Congress, the Fund will provide grants to help nonprofit groups expand successful social projects. The House Appropriations Committee last week recommended $35-million for the fiscal year beginning October 1. The Committee also acted on a wide range of other funding for nonprofits.
